What is Adiabatic Cooling?

Adiabatic cooling is a phenomenon of decreasing the level of heat by changing the air pressure via volume expansion. Adiabatic cooling has helped save millions by replacing the old school cooling method.

Brief Description of Adiabatic Cooling

Adiabatic cooling is used in data centers and various facilities. It is a free cooling method that uses the process to control temperature. Adiabatic cooling has enabled the existence of cheap cooling units and literally saved millions of liters of water. In the US, old cooling towers consume 1.5 quadrillion liters of water, which ends up being polluted at the end of the procedure. One of the underrated advantages of adiabatic cooling is that it saves 40% in electricity. The process of adiabatic cooling involves evaporative coolers. An evaporative cooler is a large fan that fetches warm air with the help of water-moistened pads. Once the water is gone from the pads, the air becomes chilled and allowed in the room.
