Amazon Cloud Watch is a web /cloud based monitoring service for portfolio Amazon Web Services & their hosted applications. It provides a central management console to gauge the performance of the system using key performance metrics.  It delivers system metric, notifications and graphical /statistical information to give insight into the system operation, performance, resources and other system management tools. It also avoids system performance degradation through load balancing with real time performance graphs.

Amazon Cloud Watch can be integrated with the entire Amazon Web Services offering, serving as a central dashboard to manage all AWS cloud properties. It provides basic & advanced level monitoring for Amazon EC2 cloud instance and with Auto Scaling capabilities: the users can scale the computing resources up or down, with changing dynamics of the application and system requirements.
