Definition of Cloud Quality Assurance

Cloud Quality Assurance is referred to the process of delivering quality and required services in a cloud service model. It calls for applying and ensuring the best quality from any of the cloud service model including public, private, hybrid, community cloud and more.

Brief Description of Cloud Quality Assurance

Cloud quality assurance process is primarily implemented after a cloud design and development process. This process enables cloud designers and architects in evaluating and assuring the quality of delivered cloud. It is part of the IT Quality Assurance process and applies cloud-specific quality assurance procedures and techniques to ensure the quality of the developed cloud solution / service.

As with other IT quality assurance processes, cloud quality assurance ensures the functional, technical and operational quality of the cloud computing service / solution. However, it might add another cloud specific software quality assurance test cases such as dynamic scaling and provisioning.
