It reduces the TCO by deploying a software based mechanism like using fewer resources for example: servers and a dedicated IT staff. It eliminates installation costs like that of hardware, software upgrades and other maintenance costs. The maintenance, backup, upgrades and system management are managed through CRM vendor. The implementation cost of a Hosted CRM is less and delivers high rate of returns. On the other hand, In-house CRM is preferably more expensive but they are justified by more customization options.
