Being deployed within a hybrid cloud, a hybrid cloud server can be deployed differently. It can be hosted on premises or on a public or private cloud. However in most scenarios, this server is deployed in a colocated dedicated server environment and it’s connected or deployed with public/ private cloud application, service or environment.
The server is usually managed by a hybrid cloud manager / software. It can be used for any server end process / task / operation such as deploying application, storage or backup. It is usually installed with a cloud / virtualization enabled server operating system such as Microsoft Hyper V.
