Definition of IP Network

IP Network refers to any sort of network that enables the communication between the connected computing components using an Internet Protocol (IP).

How does IP Network works?

To establish an IP Network, all computers must be interconnected through a network.

IP Network is used to send data from one host to another in the form of data packets. Each computing host has a separate and identified unique IP address.

When a data packet is sent from one host to another, it is delivered to a specific IP address and when it reaches the destination host, it is identified by sending host’s IP address.

How and where IP Network is used?

IP Network is used for data transfer among the various interconnected systems.
