Storage spaces is a technology implemented by Windows Servers in which the unused storage space from the market standard devices having Windows Server is compiled together to form a storage pool known as storage spaces.

How Storage Spaces does works?

Storage spaces is basically a virtualized solution for storage related problems.

The unused storage is compiled to form a storage pool. A storage pool can have two or more devices linked together to share their unused storage resources. Storage spaces are the chunks of storage fetched from storage pool.

These storage spaces are then utilized for storing other data by the users.
