Brief Description of Data Cloud

Data Cloud primarily enables organizations to transfer and access their data to the cloud. It incorporates all cloud models. Cloud infrastructure (IaaS) is used for data storage, and the cloud platform (PaaS) and cloud software ( SaaS) provides data manipulation and processing.

Data Cloud is designed for data-driven organizations, which rely on data from multiple sources for critical business processes and decision making. It enables organizations to have a central data infrastructure which captures, stores, process and delivers data to globally connected applications. It allows the organization to not only access their proprietary data but also open up external cloud-connected data sources.
