They consume comparatively less amount of power consumption as compare to typical data centers.Amount of power consumption is less for both operating systems and cooling backups as compare to other typical data centers. Mostly the power consumption is green energy i.e. hydel or solar power. Green Data Centers also ensure the minimal electronics waste by using recyclable and reusable electronic components within data centers. so the main purpose of Green Data Centers is to minimize the impact on environment and consumption of electrical power within data centers.
