Definition of Public Cloud Architecture

Public cloud architecture is referred to the structural design and layout of a public cloud service or delivery model. It consists of the component and functions that make up a complete public cloud. It is designed and created by IT and/or cloud architect as part of architecting a public cloud infrastructure / environment /solution.

Brief Description of Public Cloud Architecture

As with standard cloud computing architecture, public cloud architecture consists of multiple front and back end components. The front end components of the public cloud are directly accessed by the end user or the subscriber. The front end includes the software and the end users device that enable in accessing the public cloud and its features set.

The public cloud backend includes the core computing, storage and network resources that enable / operate the public cloud. End Users / Subscribers use the front end of the public cloud to access the backend capabilities or the public cloud in whole. Other than this scalability, on demand services, subscribed / metered IT services are also covered within the overall architecture.
