What is Server Room?

Definition of Server Room

Server room is a separate room only reserved for keeping and processing of server resources.

A whole building devoted to server rooms is known as data center so a server room is basically a part of data center.

How Server Room does works?

As servers involves continue processing activities utilizing electric power and space resources.

As a result of continual processing, the temperature of the surrounding may arise to an unsuitable level. So a suitable and stable environment is required to keep these servers in well-functioning condition and that stable environment is maintained in server rooms where temperature is controlled using air conditioning resources.

How and where Server Room is used?

Server rooms are mostly allocated in the countries with comparatively low or moderate temperature because it is more difficult to maintain a stable and suitable temperature in the countries with fluctuating temperature environments.
